Fashion's Night Out

This past Thursday, clothing retail stores celebrated the beginning of Fashion Week by having free parties and entertainment all over New York City.

To start the day, Lacoste's huge street teams full of enthusiastic, preppy, red-polo-wearing twenty-somethings marched from all corners of Manhattan towards the new flagship store handing out invitations to the party and coupons for Lacoste polos.

Once all of the street teams had arrived at the store, they lined up and drew as much attention as possible, competing with neighboring stores like Michael Kors.

A HUGE red polo was erected.

The Andrews began DJing and the party was officially started!

The crowd was very mixed.

Free Patron Tequila drinks made lubricated the social interaction nicely. Hot dogs, pretzels and cotton candy were dispensed as well as Patron infused ice pops.

The photobooth was a hit.

Some RJW peeps made appearances.

The band, Foster the People came to see fans and get a few interviews in before their performance.

Some Korean pop star showed up and the crowd tripled in size.

The party winded down and we migrated to the Gansevoort Park Hotel for the after party. The stage was set.

The band performed and all hell broke loose.

What a night.

RJDone

Today was my last day at RJW Collective. Their new website also went live today.

Photos of Doug Jacob and Charlie Walk by yours truly.

Some of my GD work made it to the site as well.

The RJW site needed to look FRESH this week, because of yesterday's New York Times article about Lacoste. Great job by everyone who was involved. I'm honored to have helped.

Dollar Slices

Just revamped the layout of our Philly skate blog. The design has gone from ugly to less ugly. I posted a throw away montage from two winters ago.

Stay tuned for more fresh, hot, cheesy delights!

HerCut

Here are a few product shots for HerCut that I finished a few weeks back. The designs in which I will be using these photos (and others) will be displayed on my new website that I am making through SquareSpace, coming to a screen near you, this fall.

Celebrate Brooklyn

A couple nights ago, Doctor John performed at Prospect Park for part of the Celebrate Brooklyn free summer concert series. I just happened to have my camera on me...

It was quite a night.

Spin House Live #2

Last night after getting out of work I ventured down to Broadway and Canal, to take photos and see British singer, Anna Calvi perform with her band on Spin Media's rooftop. It was cool to be back on top where I filmed the mural time lapse a few weeks back and saw Cults play. Here are some favorites from the night.

It's nights like these that really make me appreciate New York, as well as my internship. Check out the rest of the photos here.

Philly Summers

At Drexel, over the summer, we are expected to be in class, or be working at a co-op. There is a reason that I have opted out of being in Philly every single summer, be it studying abroad, or working in New York. It might seem silly, but it's because of the heat. It gets so unbearably hot and humid, and I can only imagine how bad it gets in a city even closer to the equator.

But the heat didn't stop Toly from wanting to getting this front noseslide photo on a sweaty summer afternoon. And I suppose it didn't stop me from going down to visit and take the photo, either.

UPDATE:
Almost forgot about this photo...Here's Ben thrusting his way up this hefty wall to pop out of a SWITCH noseslide jawn.
